A Great Week in Betanzos and the numbers are Growing!

This week he put lots of pictures on his drive so I will add them on the bottom of this email.  He sounds so good and looks even better.  The place where he is serving is so beautiful and you can tell he is happy.  We will continue to pray for these humble people to see the light of the gospel in his countenance and listen to the message of our Savior.  I love how no matter what, All is Well.  And from his description; it sounds like one big scout trip.  Enjoy, it's another good one.

WHATS UP FAM this was a pretty fast week and just some wild stuff happened.  But, all in all good times in Betanzos!

Lunes- last week we headed out to Potosi where we played some basketball with the zone and after ate some real good pizza, the zones here out side of Cochabamba are really close so its really dope how we are all together and just play a ton of basketball and soccer.

Martes- ok but one thing that is really dope is that in my old area in 6 months I taught two lessons with a dad but here there are tons of dads! Like a ton ha ha its way dope cause the family is the key if you get the dad to believe than you got the family! Ha ha but its dope! and we are finding a lot of them!

Miercoles- This day was pretty normal we were coming back from lunch eating these little 50 cent candies when this chica comes running out of her house yelling Mr! Mr! help me! so we turned around and this chica had a baby in her hands that was not breathing! So she handed it to me! a freaking baby! So I was like OK CPR but its a kid with like 2 years so I can't do that! So I get him on my back and start patting him kinda hard to get something but there was nothing.. the chica than ran to her aunt's house and she came out took the baby and she started patting his back when all of a sudden he started coughing and he was all good, but it was so nuts! Like I was just in shock and after that she said thanks and just let us go.. way nuts, we passed by their house in the night but they were in Potosi I think for a hospital.

Jueves- We were contacting in this little little pueblo the other day and these house are just mud and there are pigs and sheep and burrows just walking around and we got out there a little late and we had to start walking back but in this area there are no lights! So when the sun goes down its just pitch black and you can just see all the stars and that's it.  We started walking back and taking tons of pics of the stars cause they were so rad and we could legit see the milky way way from where we were and we started hitchhiking ha ha and this nice old man picked us up and took us back to Betanzos the pueblo is called Tecoya.

Viernes- we had an activity with our stake and the youth to have a mini CCM! Sounds cool but our ward is one youth that is active and he told us he could not come, so we went anyways cause we had to for the zone to Potosi for the night to start this activity in the morning at 7 so we stayed in the house of some other Elders, E. Clark, E. Caldwell four gringos! haha way dope we ate some ice cream and played chess ha ha pretty wild! But, it was a ton of fun and I beat everyone in chess!

Sabado- pretty chill CCM just hanging with all the youth and talking about the mission some rules and like the basics after that we did some studys and yeah.

Domingo- CHUCH! pretty good Sunday we almost doubled the numbers last week we had 22 this day which was dope.  We prepared the sacrament, I blessed it and my comp lead the hymns.  The ward is really dope but there is just not that many of them.  But its all good!  We are still working hard and trying to find tons of people!

All in all good and crazy week.  Also a JW tried to contact me! haha punks.  Oh and freak and one more thing was they have this holiday here called holy week where they just try and remember the Savior but we saw this like parade of kids in the street and there was one kid naked in basketball shorts with a wooden cross caring it through the streets while other kids were whiping him! so weird  I wanted to take a pic but i could not do it justso baffled.  At the same time there was these guys walking around who looked like they were from the KKK.  I did a report on this once but go look them up if you know what they mean it's not that bad [Capirote[ look up that.   All is well tho it's an adventure everyday here ha-ha
