The Work is Progressing and Faith is like a Semilla

Pretty chill week here in Betanzos. We are working really hard here to find all the people that we can and share the true message of the restored gospel with them!

Lunes- so we had zone conference this week at it was in Sucre so we went to Potosi Monday p-day and then stayed the night with E.Clark y  E.Caldwell .  We hang out with some members and this one kid who is special needs.  But the funniest kid I have ever met, he has been with the missionaries for like four years and he knows a lot of funny mission words or English words and we ate some cake made out of corn... it was not corn bread, it was cake with corn.

Martes- yeah today we left at around 9 en the morning to head to Sucre for the day.  It's about 3 hours away so we got the whole zone in a bus and headed to Sucre it was way dope to hear from President  and to see everyone who is outside of Cochabamba and we ate at a dope hamburger joint with everyone after that we left the conference at like 10 and made our way back, we got home at around 1:30 in the morning haha but it was a dope trip.

Miercoles- we are teaching a gal here who is really, really interested with us. She is reading the Book of Mormon, has had the first two lessons and loves talking with us.  But she has a [husband] a man she lives with and has a kid with but they are not married.. anyways he does not really like us.  Every time we come over he leaves or if he comes in while we are there he leaves.  We keep just praying for him and her so we can talk to them both, we will get there! Her name is Sandra she's dope!

Jueves-there is an area here called Laganella it's like a 40 minute ride just like through a canyon and it's a huge lake where you can catch fish, we talked to a few kids there and it was pretty dope to see this whole area, I think there was more sheep than people there ha ha.

Viernes- we found this way cool family last week a mom, dad and like 5 kids we started talking to them and we were really stocked to teach them..  Came back this day and turns out they are members! Just super inactive he was the old 1st councilor and now he has not been to church for ten years! But they are really awesine and we started to talk to them and a couple of them are not baptized so right now we are really focusing on them and we want to reactivate them cause they are all really cool.

Sabado- we have a weekly activity to play soccer in the church cause last time they had an activity or something in the church was about 3 years ago ha ha and this week we had 3 members and like 15 just random people come up to play it was way dope! yeah.. I like soccer now ha ha

Domingo- first normal Sunday where we did not have to talk, which was nice.  But for the third hour of the YM we had the lesson and we talked about Faith and we shared the message from E. Oaks and the scripture about the faith is like a semilla, (seed) and everyone here are farmers! So it was so awesome everyone was way involved and it really was a dope class.  My comp asked a question to one guy and said when we have a little seed should we use a bucket of water all at once or little by little? The guy responded with a five minute speech on how first you need to get good earth and where you are planting the seed it was super funny, they loved it!
