Caleb was especially excited to get the mail on this day. He had been anxiously awaiting the white envelope and this day did not disappoint. It was there! Where would he serve? Each time a missionary has been called in our family, we have placed a large map of the world in our hallway and had anyone who wanted to guess where they thought our missionary would serve. Our home was filled to capacity with family and friends as we waited for all of his friends to get here. It was exciting and full of energy. We had over 200 guesses and there was not one that guessed where the letter indicated would be the place he would serve. Dear Elder Clayton: You are hereby called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You have been called to serve in the Bolivia Cochabamba Mission! He will go directly to the Mexico MTC from the Salt Lake City International Airport leaving on Tueday, August 15.
He is so excited, and knows this is where he is supposed to go. Speaking Spanish was what he was hoping for, and now, just like his brothers; he will come back fluent to chat with them.
